Evidence of a vast literature in Sanskrit by Buddhist thinkers can be found in sparse references and occasional discoveries of Buddhist works in Jain libraries. This book aims to address the gap in our knowledge of Sanskrit literature by delving into the works of Buddhist authors. The author has relied heavily on Winternitz's research but intends to update and supplement it. About The Author: G. K. Nariman (Gushtaspshah Kaikhushro, 1873-1933) authored "The Religion of the Iranian Peoples, Part I," which was translated from German and included Darmesteter's "Sketch of Persia" and Goldziher's "Influence of Parsism on Islam" from the French. Nariman also translated "Iranian Influence on Moslem Literature, Part I" from the Russian by Konstantin Aleksandrovich Inostrantzev.
